Thank you so much for our delicious birthday cake 🙂 We will be back xPosted onVerified Beautiful peaceful riad with wonderful staff Very quiet and peaceful riad tucked away down a tiny lane, very near one of the gates to the Medina yet also not far from the main square and souks. Don’t worry about getting lost - it’s way easier than other parts of the Medina we ended up in! Lovely spacious room with 4 poster bed, excellent shower, beautiful furnishings. Everything was high quality. Fantastic views from the rooftop. Didn’t go into the rooftop pool in the end as too much else to do! But it was a relaxing space (and better than the pools in the courtyard of riads that we saw in other properties - where you get no sunshine or sky, and other guests walking around you all the time). Enjoyed an amazing hammam and massage in the riad’s own steam room - we debated going to other dedicated spas in the medina for this, but so glad we just did it here - not a problem for a couple to be together, and we were so relaxed and zoned out afterwards, it was great just to go straight back to our room then up to the rooftop to chill. Most importantly and above all, the staff are wonderful. Everyone, from reception team to management to cleaners to waiting staff, was so welcoming and professional, they were like family to us by the time we left. Even arranged for some clothes mending to be done for us!! Ghizlane in particular couldn’t have been more lovely - nothing we asked was a problem :) We would love to come back one day. (Quick note to future guests - be aware that riads in the medina don’t have windows onto the exterior - it’s just how they were built. So if you want natural daylight into your room, open your window into the courtyard. You’ll love it in the heat of summer, though in the winter it can feel a bit dark. Amazing Riad. Amazing Staff! Highly recommended!! I highly recommend Palais Tara & Spa. What an amazing experience we had. The staff were incredible. Felt like a family by the time we left. We were taken such good care of. The people above us were very loud. They offered to move us and showed us a choice of two other rooms. Breakfast was always awesome. They arranged our transportation to and from the airport, we stayed up with staff and other guests to watch the African Cup. Very close to everything….within minutes of the main square. The Riad is spotless. We utilized the spa and it was an amazing experience. Everything was very clean. It is beautiful. Just a wonderful Riad and wonderful staff. This charming boutique hotel exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and impeccable service. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a lovely variety of fresh local dishes, and the view from the rooftop terrace was simply breathtaking — a perfect way to start each day. Rooks were nice and rooftop views are great.Posted onVerified Great time in Marrakech, even in rainy winter The staff at the Riad Palais Tara & Spa are the most friendly and professional I have ever encountered. Our flight was late but the driver that was requested by the Riad waited for us. Because cars can not drive directly to the Palais Tara, Fatima met us at the drop off point and led us on the 3 minute walk to Palais Tara. Every time we had a ride to or from the Riad, someone escorted us to the vehicle or the Palais. The manager, Hassna, is so cordial and helpful words can not describe. And Fatima is a great example of how then entire staff is at your service. This Riad is in the Medina and many points of interest are easy to walk to. Of course until you are familiar with the area, you will need a gps app. We never felt afraid in the Medina. We met the owner and twice had a wonderful conversation. The accomdations are as described on the website. Marble floors in appropriate areas and authentic hand carved Morrocan wood work are just a couple examples of the beauty. He told us the history of this over 200 year old former private home and how much effort time it required to restore its original beauty while keeping the original as possible. The marble is Italian. You will enjoy your stay here and Hassna will make sure you have what ever you need. Craig & MarthaPosted onVerified Hospitalité et gentillesse Nous passions par là tout à fait par hasard et nous avons été accueillis par Hasna. Nous voulions faire un spa mais tout était complet. Vu le temps pluvieux, nous avons demandé s'il était possible de prendre un verre en attendant notre bus. Hasna s'est montré d'une extrême gentillesse, nous avons beaucoup discuté et pris un thé, nous avons même reçu du gâteau pour patienter. L'hôtel est propre, bien entretenu et tellement beau ! Je recommande vivement ! Une très belle expérience et une hospitalité comme on n'en voit plus beaucoup. Merci milles fois à Hasna pour sa gentillesse et son accueil !
